Education Department offers new online portal
As part of its service improvement, the Education Department of the Tobago Mission is transitioning content from the main Mission Website to its new online home www.tobagosdaschools.org. This platform focuses on services to be delivered to students, parents and teachers and follows IAD guidelines for educational entities. The new drive offers a range of features including staff email, centralized content deivery of varied content and will be the central hub for our online education drive.

World Church Executive Committee Votes to Postpone General Conference Session
The Executive Committee of the Seventh-day Adventist Church (EXCOM) voted March 19, to postpone the 2020 General Conference Session until May 2021. The vote comes after a March 17 recommendation from the General Conference Administrative Committee (ADCOM) to delay the 2020 General Conference Session (GC Session) by up to two years due to the rapid spread of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Mission President addresses church on COVID-19
The Global pandemic caused by the spread of COVID-19 (Coronavirus) has affected us in the Tobago Mission. The Mission President Pastor Toney Mapp shared an address with Church members In his address pastor Mapp state "that in light of the recent public address by the Prime Minister of Trinidad and Tobago, the Honourable Dr. Keith Christopher Rowley, on the Corona Virus Pandemic and the responsible response required by all citizens, we at the Tobago Mission have made the following decisions..."

How My Mind Has Changed and Remained the Same with Regard to Biblical Interpretation
For some time, the Society of Biblical Literature has included a section at its annual sessions in which an older member reflects on how her or his thinking has evolved over the years under the title "How My Mind has Changed and Remained the Same." Now that I am officially eligible to retire (although I do not intend to do so anytime soon), I have been emboldened to use this genre to express some thoughts on biblical interpretation.
